Join us for a weekend of practice, November 1-3, right here in the city.  Open to meditators of all levels, the retreat will be non-residential, at our usual location.  This is a great opportunity to deepen your meditation practice, learn more about the bodywork, engage more fully with the Portland sangha of Dharma Ocean, and learn how to create a space for retreat practice.

What to expect:
• meditation instruction in the "new" Dharma Ocean style, guided bodywork, practice, Q&A, discussion, and  dharma talks.
• a group session with a certified Alexander Technique teacher to help us with our meditation posture.
• short personal meetings with Amy may be possible.
• a light duty task such as shrine keeping, tea break set-up, clean-up or hospitality, contributing to the group practice environment
• lunch together at the house. You can either bring your lunch with you or pick something up (Zupan's and Safeway are close by).

The schedule will be roughly Friday 6:30 pm - 9 pm, Saturday 9:30 am - 6 pm, and Sunday 9:30 am - 4 pm.  There is a suggested donation is $50 for the weekend. Donations will cover expenses and the remainder will go to Dharma Ocean Portland's "Future Rent Fund." No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Pat Martinez has generously offered to coordinate the weekend.  Once you register, you will be hearing from him directly, by email and/or phone.

Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.  Please register using this link by Tuesday October 29th.

Looking forward to practicing together!
